Simplified diabetes management
We are PharmaSens – A devoted group of people aiming to simplify diabetes management and making insulin pump therapy accessible for more people with diabetes.
Better treatment for more people
Despite known medical benefits compare to manual injections of insulin, insulin pumps are only used by a few. Pump therapy is considered too complicated and too costly. We at PharmaSens are devoted to changing this.
We are developing a portfolio of three insulin patch pumps to bring more people towards better treatment and a life with increased freedom.
PharmaSens Portfolio
In our evolving portfolio, we are excited to feature two next-generation devices, namely ‘niia advanced’ and ‘niia signature.’
These devices will incorporate an automated insulin delivery (AID) algorithm, representing a significant advancement in diabetes management.
The ‘niia signature’ is particularly noteworthy as it integrates a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) sensor with insulin delivery, offering users a seamless and comprehensive solution.
What makes us different
Different solutions for different needs
One does not fit all. Our willingness and ability to start something new in life vary. PharmaSens is developing three different products to simplify diabetes management for as many people as possible using insulin.
Three insulin patch pumps with a lot in common
All three patch devices are small, tubeless, and easy-to-learn and use. The 3 ml insulin reservoir allows an extended wear time and cost efficiency together with the semi-reusable design. The main part of the system has a lifetime of 2 years to ensure sustainability and to reduced waste.
Combined insulin pump and glucose sensor
The niia signature will be an insulin patch pump and CGM, for Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) in one device. Patented technology allows this device to both measure the glucose level and deliver insulin from one single patch.
PharmaSens
We at PharmaSens are passionate about simplifying diabetes management. We have worked all worked many years with development of insulin pumps and glucose measurement systems. We believe there is still much more we can do for the large community of people with diabetes.
